Workshop 1 POLYMER BASICS
Spend a day learning the basics of polymer clay with the author of The Art of Jewelry: Polymer Clay (Lark Books) Basics chapter. Proper conditioning, curing, tools, tips and techniques to get you started on your polymer clay journey will be covered in this workshop.

Workshop 2 DEEP TEXTURE
Participants will use several techniques to achieve texture using photo polymer plates. These deeply textured polymer sheets will be used to veneer beads and create domed discs.

Workshop 3 EXTRUDER BASICS BOOTCAMP
Do you have a PCE A.C.E. or M extruder but haven't used it yet? Learn what this great tool can do.
Using the A.C.E extruder and basic discs, participants will create a sample bead strand. Some surface decoration techniques will also be introduced. Learn to be comfortable using this wonderful tool.

Workshop 4 PATTERNED PLUG EXTRUSIONS
Using the Artway A.C.E. extruder and Mari's specialty discs, participants will learn this exciting new way to create complex shaped canes with the patterns already in place while extruding. Imagine blends, stripes, dots,ikats, cut and insert and more, going intro the A.C.E as a plug and coming out as a complex leaf, flower, insect, or other complex disk shape. See it to believe it!

Workshop 5 Button, Button, Who Made That
Fabulous Button?
In this workshop, students will use Artway shape frames to create a series of fabulous buttons. Several decorating techniques will be covered as well as how these buttons might be antiqued, glazed, or sanded and polished.

Workshop 6 "CARD PARTY"*
Explore several greeting card layouts, then decorate the cards using the hundreds of stamps, stamp inks, punches, ephemera available for use at the Treehouse.
